The US Dollar Index remained steady just above the 99.00 mark on Thursday, showing little movement throughout the session. According to FX Street, the index traded within a very narrow range of less than a fifth of a point, indicating a pause in momentum.

Despite this stability, the index remains about 2.6% below its June peak, which was just under 102.00. The US Dollar is currently positioned near key technical levels, hovering around the 50-day exponential moving average close to 100.00 and the 200-day EMA near 99.75.

For Japanese investors, the US Dollar's steady stance at this level is significant as it continues to influence cross-currency valuations and impacts FX and equity market dynamics in the region.
