The British Pound retreated against the US Dollar following a peak at 1.3506, with the pair settling into a trading range between 1.3400 and 1.3475, according to FX Street (UOB).

FX Street (UOB) reported that after the overbought spike, GBP/USD reversed and closed lower at 1.3434, with expectations of a continued pullback within the current range. A sustained drop below 1.3400 appears unlikely at this stage.

During Tuesday’s European trading session, FX Street noted the pair was trading approximately 0.1% lower at 1.3420. For Japanese investors, monitoring GBP/USD movements is crucial as shifts in the British Pound can influence risk sentiment and impact related currency and equity exposures in global markets.
