Gold and silver prices saw gains during the Asian session on Thursday, recovering from previous losses amid growing expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike. According to FX Street, gold (XAU/USD) climbed back to the $4,583 region, while silver (XAG/USD) traded around $69.10 per troy ounce.

The New Zealand Dollar weakened against the US Dollar, with the NZD/USD pair slipping to approximately 0.5950 during early Asian trading. This decline was influenced by US inflation data that raised prospects of a Fed rate increase, FX Street reported.
