United Overseas Bank (UOB) strategists Quek Ser Leang and Lee Sue Ann have outlined a short- and medium-term outlook for USD/CNH, highlighting a range-bound price action between 6.6900 and 6.7000 in the near term, according to FX Street.

The strategists caution that if the pair breaks and closes below 6.6900, it could prompt a decline toward 6.6800 within the next one to three weeks. Looking further ahead, over a one to three month horizon, they expect USD/CNH to continue edging lower as long as it remains below the 6.7815 resistance level.

For Japanese investors, these insights are crucial as fluctuations in USD/CNH can influence regional FX dynamics and risk sentiment, impacting trading strategies across Asian markets.
