Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Minoru Kihara announced on Monday that Japan does not intend to release more crude oil from its national reserves. This decision comes despite the global push by the G7 to ease energy supply pressures.

According to FX Street, the G7 recently agreed to release a combined total of 100 million barrels of diesel to stabilize markets. However, Japan has chosen not to participate in any fresh crude oil releases at this time.

For Japanese investors and traders, this stance highlights Japan's cautious approach amid fluctuating global oil prices and ongoing geopolitical uncertainties affecting energy markets.
