USD/CHF is currently trading within a confined range, showing limited upward momentum according to strategists from United Overseas Bank (UOB). Analysts Quek Ser Leang and Lee Sue Ann highlighted that while the pair has rebounded recently, it lacks the strength needed for a significant advance, as reported by FX Street.
In the near term, USD/CHF is expected to fluctuate between 0.8320 and 0.8355. Over the next one to three weeks, the trading range is projected to narrow slightly to between 0.8295 and 0.8365. Looking further ahead to a one to three month horizon, UOB anticipates a continued rebound but does not foresee a retest of the July peak.
For Japanese investors, this cautious outlook on USD/CHF underscores the importance of monitoring safe-haven flows, especially given the Swiss Franc’s role as a defensive currency amid global market uncertainties.
