The EUR/USD currency pair maintained its position above the 1.1600 level following the Eurozone's upward revision of second-quarter GDP growth to 0.6%, surpassing the 0.4% consensus, according to FX Street.
Investor confidence also improved markedly, with the Sentix investor survey jumping to 5.1 from 0.9, contributing to the pair’s gain of a tenth of a percent during Monday’s session that covered 28 pips, FX Street reported.
For Japanese investors, this development signals cautious optimism in European markets, which could influence currency strategies amid ongoing global economic uncertainties.
