Global equity markets saw a broad-based recovery on Friday, driven primarily by gains in US technology stocks. According to FX Street, Dow Jones futures climbed 0.25% to near 51,940, S&P 500 futures rose 0.34% to around 7,670, and Nasdaq 100 futures advanced 0.64% to close to 29,630 during European trading hours.

Deutsche Bank highlighted that the rally was supported by positive US economic data and a decline in oil prices, which helped lift major indexes worldwide. Alongside the US benchmarks, Europe’s STOXX 600 also advanced, while Asian markets such as Japan’s Nikkei and South Korea’s KOSPI moved higher. Danske Bank noted the strong rebound occurred despite expectations of further tightening from the US Federal Reserve.

For Japanese investors, this rebound underscores the interconnectedness of global markets and the influence of US economic indicators and energy prices on regional equities.
